Independence Ridge ("we," "us," "our") provides residential and commercial property improvement services in Austin, Texas and the surrounding Hill Country. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or request a service estimate, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Plain-language summary. We collect only the information you voluntarily share to give you an estimate or perform work — your name, contact information, and details about your project. We don't sell your information, we don't run advertising trackers, and we only share what we need to with the licensed subcontractors we bring onto your job.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide: Name, phone number, email address, service address, and project details (photos, measurements, timelines) when you request an estimate or communicate with us.
Payment information: If you engage us for work, we may collect billing details through a payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Technical information: Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps) collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and diagnostics. No advertising cookies. No third-party analytics scripts.

2. How we use your information

To respond to your estimate request or service inquiry.
To schedule, plan, and perform the work you have hired us to do.
To coordinate with the licensed subcontractors we bring onto your project (roofing, electrical, concrete, solar, etc.), sharing only the details they need to complete their portion.
To send you invoices, warranty documentation, and follow-up communications about work we have performed for you.
To comply with legal, tax, and contractor-licensing recordkeeping requirements in Texas.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Licensed subcontractors performing part of your project, limited to what they need to do the work.
Service providers we rely on to run the business (for example, our payment processor, our hosting provider, our accounting software), each under confidentiality obligations.
Government agencies or courts if we are legally required to disclose information (subpoena, court order, tax audit).

4. How long we keep it

We keep project records for as long as we have a business relationship with you, plus the period required for tax, warranty, and licensing recordkeeping under Texas law. You can ask us to delete your records at any time; if we are still legally required to retain something, we will tell you.

5. Security

Our website is served over HTTPS with modern security headers. We use business-grade cloud tools that encrypt data at rest and in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not collect anything we don't need, which is the strongest form of protection.

6. Your choices

You can decline to share any information — you just won't be able to receive an estimate without it.
You can ask us to correct or delete records we have about you by contacting us using the details on our contact page.
Texas residents have specific rights under state consumer protection law; contact us and we will honor them.

7. Children

Our services are for adult property owners and their designated agents. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the "Effective" date above and, where reasonable, notify current customers directly.
